India to Nepal with the Mongolia Jacket and Pants
By Kat Rama

I was planning a month long enduro trip from India to Nepal and needed to overhaul my riding gear. I was looking for gear that could take me from 40 degrees c in the Indian sub continent to within 5 degrees c in the higher reaches of the Nepal Himalayas. I would have the unavoidable fast Tarmac riding, as well as delicious enduro in the Himalayas, all on the same trip. I needed tough gear for hard top, but light gear for enduro riding, and something that helps me face most weather. The holy grail for all enduro adventure seekers.

Adventure Specs Mongolia line fit the bill with an exceptionally well thought out layering system that really works for a travel enduro ride like this. The Baltic Hybrid jacket feels very comfortable for colder temperatures, and the Aqua Pac jacket will work well for spells of rain in between. The Core Base layers are a must for any kind of riding, and will certainly keep me comfortable for the inevitable long days on the road or off it.

Coming from a heavy full GoreTex laminate suit, the Adventure Spec Mongolia Jacket and Pants feel light and minimalist, yet rugged and tough as nails, ready to take on any adventure.

Light is definitely right!
