New and improved magic thumb
The Dirt and Alpine Gloves

Hi!

When we launched the Dirt and Alpine gloves it was a leap into the unknown for Adventure Spec.

We had never made a glove before.

But we did know what our community of riders was missing.

A glove that walked the fine line between protection and feeling.

Built for exactly our style of adventure riding.

Enough protection for the lower speed, dirt road and trail riding we enjoy.

With a focus on materials and construction that make sure we get maximum feeling of our throttle, brake and clutch levers.

At the right price point.

Because if you are putting lots of dirt miles on you are going to give them a hard life.

You might even wear them out like Marc did (take a look at his vid here).

Since that launch we have sold a lot of Dirt and Alpine Gloves.

The Alpine’s especially have grown a cult following, it’s often one of the bits of gear that riders tell me time and again how much they surpassed their expectations.

But, nothing we make is perfect.

There is always room for better.

Better is a founding principle of our product design.

Better is why we are here.

In this new updated version of the Dirt and Alpine Gloves we’ve kept to the same recipe that proved so popular, with one added ingredient, and a tweak.

On both the Dirt and Alpine Gloves we’ve added touch screen thumbs to the touch screen fore and middle fingers.

So it’s easier than ever to pinch and zoom.

Or take a photo of your bike without taking your gloves off, so your hands stay warmer.

The touchscreen tech is woven into the fabric so it will never rub off.

And on the Dirt Glove we’ve relaxed the sizing (so a large actually feels more like a large).

Tomorrow we will launch the new Dirt and Alpine Gloves in our UK, EU and USA stores.

I’ll see you in the morning.
