Hi!
It's that time of year.
Some of us pause to take a look back.
Some of us have our sights firmly ahead on the horizon.
And some of us are just so full of booze and leftovers we don't know if we are coming or going.
Last year, this is what we said we would do in 2025 (click here).
And here's ten Adventure Spec projects we're working our butts off to bring to you in 2026...
1: We will launch our new Suzuki DRZ4S + KTM 390 Adventure hard parts.
Both of these bikes are on the ramp at the moment. Jim has kept things quiet but I'm looking forward to seeing the first protos in the new year. We've also got our eyes on the new BMW 450, Reiju 307 and the 2026 KTM 690 / Husky 701's. What else should we be developing parts for? Hit reply and let me know.
2: We will launch the new AquaPac jacket & pant.
We've been working on the AquaPac Pant for a good while now, Jim's very close to getting it over the line. We've been working on a redesigned AquaPac Jacket too.
3: We will expand our Super-range.
The Supershirt 2.0 captured your imagination. We hear you, it's the foundation to build all your layering on. We're working on the perfect companion, it just needs to go through CE certification testing.
4: We will start to update our luggage racks.
We've learned a lot about how you want to mount your luggage onto our racks. It's time to start revisiting our early bikes (CRF's and T700's etc) and add mounting compatibility across the full range.
5: We will evolve our Magadan luggage range.
Keeping up with the work we are doing on our luggage racks, our Magadan's get an update. Samples are in production. There's still a bit more work to do but we are on the case. What luggage would you like to see us develop?
6: We will try to launch our lightweight CE certified adventure gloves.
We are onto prototype number 2. It's getting close, but we know that CE testing can take some time. Watch this space.
7: We will start to expand our care and repair program.
As we start to make the transition into non-PFAS fabrics, we will help you learn how to get the most out of your new waterproof gear.
8: We will get better at demonstrating how our gear fits different body shapes and sizes.
We did it with our Women's Fit project last year. It made us ask ourselves 'why haven't we done this for men'? Time to fix that. What sizing questions do you want to see us answer?
9: We will grow our Pop Ups and ABR 'in-real-life' experiences.
Our pop up experiment has been a big hit. It's time to expand to more regions in the UK. It's also time for a bigger tent at ABR. Are you gonna be there?
10: We will make more adventure films and vlogs.
I'm going to spend a bit less time on the keyboard and a bit more in front of the camera. We've also invited a few YouTube friends along too. Who do you think we should collaborate with? Hit reply and let me know.
Adventure Spec lives in that space where 'motorcycling' and 'the great outdoors' cross over.
We use our bikes to get out into the wild.
And we use our expertise to make gear that excels on those bikes and in those wild places.
It's a really exciting space to be in.
Thanks for joining us for the ride.
🙂 🙌
